Job summary

Cygnus, Inc. is seeking a Paint Department associate to apply primer and paint to aerospace sheet metal parts. You will follow established work instructions, operate the curing oven, and ensure parts meet customer specifications on a first shift with a 9/80 schedule.

The role requires reading drawings/blueprints, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting in masking or other paint tasks as needed. Pre-employment screening and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Read/drawings, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Test painted parts for conformance to Customer specifications.
• Operate oven for curing painted parts.
• Remove primed or painted parts from racking.
• Touch-up primed or painted parts.
• Back-up for masking or de-masking as required.
• Learn production flow through Paint Department.
• Read and follow detailed work instructions, operating procedures, drawings and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist in other paint functions when needed.
