Job summary

Cygnus, Inc. is seeking a Paint Department worker for first shift to perform testing, curing, masking, and touch-up tasks. You will learn production flow within the Paint Department and follow detailed work instructions, procedures, drawings and blueprints.

Applicants should have good manual dexterity; manufacturing or painting experience is a plus. This position operates on a 9/80 schedule with early start times and requires US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Test painted parts for conformance to Customer specifications.
• Operate oven for curing painted parts.
• Remove primed or painted parts from racking.
• Touch-up primed or painted parts.
• Back-up for masking or de-masking as required.
• Learn production flow through Paint Department.
• Read and follow detailed work instructions, operating procedures, drawings and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist in other paint functions when needed.

This is a 1st shift position, - we are currently doing a 9/80 schedule (1st week 6 am to 3:30 pm. - M-Th + 6 am to 2:30pm Fri then 2nd week 6 am to 3:30 pm. - M-Th and Fri off)
