Job summary

Parkdale Mills, Inc. is seeking a full-time packer to inspect and pack final products for warehouse storage and shipment. The role involves sorting defective items, labeling correctly, and packing securely on the right skid with proper case counts.

Candidate should be able to stand for long periods, handle multiple machines, and maintain a clean, safe packing area. Prior manufacturing experience and basic math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye and attention to detail; English and basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Sort out all defective products before packing.
• Correctly pack the product into the proper packaging per the dispo.
• Tape boxes neatly and securely.
• Assure the correct product code/labels are on the box.
• Place boxes on the proper skid with the correct amount of cases per layer and per skid.
• Keep packing area neat, clean, and safe; assist with sweeping and keeping product off the floor.
• Communicate to Lead any quality or sealer problems.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and required documentation.
• Assist other positions within the department as needed.
• Follow all department and machine rules and procedures.
• Complete all special projects and/or assignments as directed by the Lead or Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned
