Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a detail-oriented Packer to inspect and package plastic products for shipment. In this full-time role, you will ensure quality standards are met and prepare items for global distribution, working on a fast-paced production line.

Responsibilities include defect inspection, correct packaging, labeling, and maintaining a clean work area while following safety guidelines. Prior packaging or manufacturing experience is preferred, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging roles preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot defects.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving packaging issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
• Other duties as assigned.
