Job summary

Bergen Cable Technology, LLC in Fairfield, NJ is seeking a Packaging Associate to ensure finished products are accurately packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment. You will support production by packaging Safety Cable Kits and Cable Assemblies following work instructions and quality standards.

Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will help guarantee accuracy, and you must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Package Safety Cable Kits and Cable Assemblies per work instructions and orders.
• Operate packaging equipment (scales, heat sealers, etching equipment, banders).
• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and packaging requirements.
• Etch, tag, mark, and label products per job orders with precision.
• Perform in-process inspections and follow all quality standards.
• Communicate production status and issues to supervisors.
