Bergen Cable Technology, Inc is hiring full-time Safety Cable Assemblers in New Jersey. You will support ferrule loading, grinding, and crimping across multiple production stages, while adhering to quality and safety standards.

The role requires operating automated and pneumatic equipment, conducting routine quality checks, and maintaining accurate batch records in a fast-paced environment. Experience with reading part numbers and basic measurements is beneficial.

• Ability to read and interpret part numbers, basic measurements, and technical instructions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor automated equipment for ferrule loading and ensure correct quantity.
• Grind cable ends to specified dimensions using manual-guided equipment and inspect finished ends.
• String ferrules on cable and crimp ferrules to specification with pneumatic presses, performing inspections.
• Identify and properly handle ferrules, cables, sleeves, and batch counts.
• Communicate production status and material/equipment concerns with management.
• Follow drawings, work instructions and part specifications and report non-conformances.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe, and adhere to safety procedures.
