Job summary

Bergen Cable Technology, Inc is seeking a Packaging Associate in Fairfield, NJ to ensure finished products are accurately packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment. You will support production efficiency by packaging Safety Cable Kits and Cable Assemblies according to work instructions and quality standards.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods and lift up to 30 lb.
• Experience with packaging operations and labeling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package Safety Cable Kits and Cable Assemblies as per work orders.
• Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper functionality and specs.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and packaging requirements.
• Etch, tag, mark, and label products with precision.
• Perform in-process inspections and follow quality standards.
• Communicate status and issues to supervisors; maintain a clean workspace.
