Job summary

INW Phoenix Formulations in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator III for the 2nd shift. You will assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot, and adjust packaging machines that dispense dietary supplements to meet product specifications.

The daily tasks include setting up equipment for maximum efficiency, adjusting weights for jars/bottles/pouches, troubleshooting to reduce errors, and maintaining logs and process documentation while following GMP and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic and measurement accuracy.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
• Ability to read and write basic English.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Set up the machine to run at maximum efficiency while meeting specs.
• Make adjustments to ensure jars, bottles, pouches or stick packs have correct weight.
• Troubleshoot the machine to eliminate in-process errors.
• Clean areas and equipment; assemble/disassemble equipment as needed.
• Record logs, pre-process and in-process documentation and clearance checks.
• Verify materials are correct, present, and within the expiration.
