Job summary

INW Phoenix Formulations in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Encapsulation Machine Operator for 2nd shift (3:45pm–2:15am). This full-time, on-site role offers $21.75 per hour.

You will follow batch records and SOPs to tend or operate equipment that makes or finishes tablets or capsules, ensuring product quality and safety. On a typical day, you will set up equipment, start and stop processes, monitor presses and encapsulation machines, load raw materials, measure outputs, record data, perform sanitation,

Qualifications

• Mathematical accuracy in arithmetic and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine product specifications, materials, weights, dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up equipment, start and stop processes, troubleshooting and adjusting equipment for safety and quality.
• Monitor presses and encapsulation machines, coating pans, and report abnormal conditions.
• Load and unload machinery with raw materials and finished product.
• Measure and examine materials and finished product for conformance to standards.
• Record operational data, update logs, and collect samples.
• Perform sanitation on equipment and work areas as specified.
• Provide information or indication of problems to Management or Quality Assurance.
• Report to work regularly and on time; perform duties safely.
