Job summary

IMCD US, LLC is seeking an Order Entry Specialist to support customers through accurate and timely entry of purchase orders. You will review orders for product specs, quantities, packaging, certifications, and delivery instructions, ensuring alignment with company standards and a smooth hand-off to Customer Care.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service or data entry experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in customer service or data entry.
• Ability to maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform the initial review and accurate entry of customer purchase orders into the system, ensuring all information is complete and correct.
• Provide professional and courteous communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify discrepancies and seek clarification for unclear or missing information.
• Develop understanding of customer requirements in regulated industries such as aerospace, pharmaceuticals, and specialty manufacturing.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring order issues and recommending process enhancements.
