Job summary

CKD USA Corporation is seeking an Orbital Welder for our Semiconductor Manufacturing Department in Austin. This role welds gas lines in a Class 100 cleanroom, ensuring welds meet exact blueprint specifications and maintaining tool cleanliness.

A strong mechanical aptitude and experience with orbital welding are essential. Responsibilities include operating welding equipment, reading blueprints, performing routine maintenance, and working safely in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some technician coursework and/or AA technical degree preferred.
• Solid mechanical skills with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain orbital welding equipment.
• Weld gas lines from 1/4” to 1/2” diameter.
• Ensure welds meet blueprint specifications.
• Perform adjustments with hand tools as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of station and equipment per procedures.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Contribute to quality and teamwork in a cleanroom environment.
