Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a skilled Orbital Welder to join our precision fabrication team in Austin, TX. You will operate orbital welding equipment to build and repair mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; welding tech training preferred.
• Formal welding/orbital welding training program preferred.
• 1–3 years welding experience in manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, or high‑purity fab; orbital TIG a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate orbital welding equipment to join stainless steel tubing and vacuum components to tight specs.
• Read work orders, blueprints, WPS, and P&ID to determine weld sequence and acceptance criteria.
• Assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot, and repair vacuum and pneumatic subassemblies.
