Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking an Optics Fabricator in Irvine, CA. You will partner with Production, Engineering, Planning, and others, reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor to produce precision optics.

Responsibilities include operating polishing/generating machines, interpreting routers/drawings, testing parts with interferometers, and performing quality inspections and maintenance to ensure peak performance.

Qualifications

• High school completion or vocational training is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and literacy are required.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate polishing and generating machines to process optical materials.
• Read routers and engineering drawings to follow part specs and processes.
• Test optical parts with interferometers, calipers, and micrometers.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to pass parts.
