Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years experience operating thin film deposition equipment.
• Operations/manufacturing experience in aerospace environment a plus.
• Experience handling, cleaning and inspecting valuable optics.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be mechanically inclined with a curiosity to learn.
• Computer proficiency with willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain coating chambers and equipment used for deposition.
• Prepare and inspect optics; clean and load substrates.
• Conduct process troubleshooting and report issues to supervisor or engineer.
• Prepare and complete daily process documentation with accuracy.
• Operate thin-film measurement equipment and collect data for engineering.
