Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions LLC in Farmington Hills, MI is hiring an Operations Technician, Cleanline to inspect, unmask, and clean implants, ensure quality, and keep equipment and areas orderly. The role emphasizes hands-on craftsmanship, accuracy, and adherence to safety and QMS procedures.

You will perform daily checks, assist with coating processes, and support Lean, EHS, and quality initiatives while maintaining a high standard of precision across manufacturing tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Or Equivalent (Preferred).
• No previous work experience required (Preferred).
• Manufacturing Experience (Preferred).
• Experience working in an FDA regulatory environment (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Completes all required training.
• Use pallet jack, carts and tables to safely transport product.
• Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow designated safety rules and regulations.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives.
• Inspect work using tools like calipers, pin gauges, measuring instruments and surface plates.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping per 5S schedule.
• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material and any unusual conditions to the Supervisor or Lead.
• Follow work orders to perform operations on various parts and products.
• Reinforces safety expectations and reports issues to Supervisor.
• Support quality and compliance by adhering to procedures, work instructions, and forms per QMS.
• Inspects incoming product.
• Unmask and inspect products after coating and send to Final Inspection area.
• Uses basic inspection gauges (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Works independently.
