Job summary

Precision Castparts in Eastlake, OH is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to build, repair, and maintain dies, molds, fixtures, and tooling with precision and pride. You will read blueprints and schematics, interpret technical drawings, and operate EDM machines, CNC mills, Bridgeport mills, and surface grinders to meet exacting specifications.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Tool & Die apprenticeship program.
• Tool & Die Maker certification required.
• Experience with EDM, CNC machining, surface grinding, and precision tooling.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from technical drawings.
• CAD experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain dies, molds, fixtures, jigs, and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling to support production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Operate EDM machines, CNC mills (3-axis & 5-axis), Bridgeport mills, and surface grinders.
• Perform inspections and precision measurements to ensure quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence initiatives.
