Job summary

Pace Industries, LLC is hiring a Mold Maker for 1st shift in Maple Lake, MN to set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders and drill presses to fabricate molds and tooling from drawings and written instructions. You will measure with micrometers and calipers, verify tolerances and ensure parts meet drawings and ISO 9001 standards.

Required: high school diploma or GED and a two-year machine tool technology degree, plus at least five years of machining experience in a non-production setting or

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and a two-year degree in machine tool technology.
• Minimum five years machining experience in a non-production setting or related training.
• Must have thorough knowledge of precision measuring instruments and layouts/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling, turning, boring, drilling, polishing, grinding and threading to build tooling.
• Fabricate components and parts to very close tolerances from drawings or sketches.
• Operate CNC EDM (wire and ram) and CNC Mills.
• Read and verify work with micrometers, calipers and indicators.
• Maintain safe work habits and keep a clean, orderly workspace.
• Assist with production readiness and quality checks as required.
