Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Fab Mechanic - Mold Prep & Trim to join our manufacturing team. The role involves setting up and operating abrasive, deburring, and sizing equipment to prepare assemblies to cosmetic and dimensional specs. You will use hand tools and follow blueprints and procedures.

We value reliability, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and a commitment to quality. High school diploma or GED and related training are acceptable; OSHA and safety awareness are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs setup and operation of abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment to prepare assemblies and details to cosmetic and dimensional requirements.
• Uses hand tools to grind, cut, or sand walls to acceptable limits and specifications.
• Reads and follows blueprints and customer instructions and company procedures.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness; follows chemicals handling protocols.
• Lifts up to 25 pounds; works regularly and dependably at work and on time.
