STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Machinist to set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and NC machines to fabricate metal and nonmetal parts. You will study blueprints, measure dimensions, and adjust tooling to ensure parts meet specifications.

Regularly inspect first pieces and collaborate with engineers to resolve machining issues. This role requires standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and precise focus on tolerances, with opportunities for professional growth in a growing

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent, or 2–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Study blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and grinders.
• Select tools, fixtures, and materials; adjust speeds and feeds.
• Observe machines to detect malfunctions and maintain quality conformance.
• Perform first piece inspections and assist engineers with problem solving.
