ATL-CHI Atlas Tube (Chicago), LLC is seeking an Operator to safely run seam welders, mills, and scarfing units in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Chicago, IL. The role involves maintaining equipment, performing changeovers, and meeting quality and production goals with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Applicants should have 5+ years in manufacturing, a trade certification, and proficiency with precision measuring tools. A crane certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong math and measurement skills with basic tooling knowledge.
• Experience using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers; crane certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot production issues and communicate with the mill crew.
• Perform changeovers and calibrate tools at shift start and during run changes.
