Job summary

Lennox AES in Tallassee, AL is hiring a Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld galvanized steel and aluminum, read blueprints, and ensure product quality for roof curbs and drop boxes.

Requires 1 year of MIG welding experience and a high school diploma; trade welding certification is preferred. This is an hourly, non-exempt role with potential overtime and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-year MIG welding experience required.
• Trade school or welding certification preferred.
• Capable of reading fabrication drawings with some instruction.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom and standard products from blueprints with attention to detail.
• Communicate with shop manager and engineering on product issues.
• MIG weld 10- to 20-gauge galvanized steel for adapters, curbs, and other products.
• Inspect welded components for quality standards and specifications.
• Work with engineers, fabricators, and team members to maintain workflow.
• Under supervision, perform spot welds as needed.
