Job summary

Anchor Fabrication LLC in Wichita, KS seeks a hands-on welder to join the production team. You will fabricate and repair metal components, translate blueprints and diagrams into precise MIG welds, and maintain safety and cleanliness on the shop floor.

Second shift duties run Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM, with emphasis on accuracy, scrap reduction, and teamwork. Prior welding certs or experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and product specifications.
• Proficient with tape measure reading and print interpretation.
• Committed to low scrap/rework and continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat and horizontal positions using MIG parameters.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, product specifications, diagrams, and welding symbols.
• Fabricate to exact tolerances; verify conformance and quality at each step.
• Apply safe work practices at all times; keep the workspace organized.
• Assist with additional tasks aligned with the role’s level of responsibility.
