Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Jose is hiring a production assembler focused on microelectronic and semiconductor assembly. You will help ensure products are assembled correctly and meet specifications, contributing to manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Key tasks include proficiency in multiple assembly skills, microscope work, equipment setup and calibration, and collaboration with Process and Quality Engineering to troubleshoot procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least three of the listed assembly skills (wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach).
• Be able to handle devices and small components using tweezers under a microscope.
• 4+ years of experience in microelectronic, RF, hybrid and/or semiconductor assembly.

Responsibilities

• Handle devices and small components using tweezers under a microscope.
• Work independently and take ownership for quality; continually improve.
• Participate in meetings and meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Ability to work under a microscope 8 hours per day.
• Read English instructions and communicate effectively; MIL-STD knowledge preferred.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with Process and Quality Engineering to troubleshoot procedure challenges.
