Job summary

Teledyne Micropac in Garland, TX, seeks an assembler to perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly for high-reliability products.

You will read engineering drawings, follow procedures, and use microscopes to assemble components, perform wire bonding, and ensure quality throughout production. Collaboration with QC and process engineers is essential for meeting strict specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing assembly or cleanroom experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• FOD control knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow production drawings, procedures and work instructions, ensuring workmanship standards for satellites, medical, defense/aerospace and high-reliability applications.
• Ensure quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
• Operate and set up Manual Wire Bonding equipment for thermosonic gold and aluminum wire bonding.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborate with teammates, quality control and process engineers to meet strict specifications.
• Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols; training support as needed.
• Perform production assembler duties as directed by Supervisor.
• Delicate hand assembly of electronics under microscopes using solder, epoxy and wire bonding techniques.
• Inspect completed work to quality requirements.
