Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler (or Micro-Electronics Assembler) in Chelmsford, MA. The role is a day shift, full-time position, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with potential overtime.

You will assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies, inspect with microscopes and test equipment, and follow detailed work instructions to ensure quality. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, the ability to read and follow instructions, attention

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping and instructions.
Ability to learn J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
Experience with electrical/micro-electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings.
Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions.
Work with components from microscopic to larger sizes, possibly with magnification.
Use hand tools and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers).
Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and implement continuous improvement.
