Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler (or Micro-Electronics Assembler) in Chelmsford, MA. The role is a day shift, full-time position, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with potential overtime.

You will assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies, inspect with microscopes and test equipment, and follow detailed work instructions to ensure quality. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, the ability to read and follow instructions, attention

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping and instructions.
• Ability to learn J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
• Experience with electrical/micro-electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings.
• Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
• Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions.
• Work with components from microscopic to larger sizes, possibly with magnification.
• Use hand tools and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers).
• Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
• Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and implement continuous improvement.

Location: Chelmsford, MA

Shift: Day shift, Full-Time (M-TH) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, with possibility for Overtime

What You\'ll Do

• " Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instruction and drawings."
• " Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements."
• " Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions and work instruction processes."
• " Work with microscopic to large components that may require visual magnification."
• " Use various hand tools (such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters) and pneumatic tools (such as torque drivers, and screwdrivers)."
• " Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes."
• " Collaborate with teams members to improve throughput and continuous improvement."

What You\'re Looking For

• " Interim Secret is required to start. Supplier will be required to start interim clearance process at offer stage."
• " Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation."
• " Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment."
• " Ability to follow written and verbal instructions."
• " Ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610."
• " Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred."
• " Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment."
• " Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role."
• " High school diploma or GED required."
