• Strong understanding of quality control, construction, fabrication, and alignment.
• Ability to comprehend units of measure, read scales, tape measures, and levels.
• Proficient in interpreting drawings, plans, tolerances, and construction diagrams.
• Effective communication skills with management and employees at all levels.
• Self-starter with motivation to learn new technology.
• Must obtain DBIDS and Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Determine the proper tooling required for jobs and transport tooling to various shipyard sites.
• Complete measurements as per procedural data sheets with high accuracy.
• Transfer collected data to the Accuracy Control Engineer and assist with analysis and data review.
