Job summary

JR Metal Works is seeking a Machine Operator to safely operate and monitor production equipment, manufacturing high-quality metal components per customer specs and schedules. This hands-on role supports production goals and ensures efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standards on day shift.

The position requires reading blueprints, interpreting work orders, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while collaborating with the whole production team to meet nightly targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Prior experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery in accordance with work instructions and safety standards.
• Interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
• Maintain production pace to meet or exceed nightly output targets while minimizing scrap and rework.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Learn the JRMW processes involved with the completion of assigned parts.
