Job summary

JR Metal Works LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Brake Press Operator to accurately set up and operate press brake equipment, bending, forming, and shaping metal parts per blueprints. You will work with the day-shift production team, maintaining strong safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, measuring parts, and applying mathematical skills. Independence and a commitment to safe manufacturing practices are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow fabrication drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to build parts, structures, and mechanical component assemblies from a wide variety of materials.
• Safely and efficiently run all machines involved in the fabrication and completion of parts.
• Periodically test operation of machines for any issues.
• Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and orderly manner and report all equipment problems.
• Learn the JRMW processes involved with the completion of assigned parts.

Position Summary

The Brake Press Operator is responsible for the accurate setup and operation of press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components according to blueprint specifications. This role supports production goals by operating independently while maintaining strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

This position is a hands-on role that works closely with the day-shift production team and must have a strong commitment to safe manufacturing practices.
