Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. in Harlan, Iowa is seeking a Fabricator – Machine Operator to set up, adjust, and operate fabrication equipment to produce metal components per blueprints, specs, and work orders.

You will maintain safe operations, ensure quality standards, and accurately record production data while reading drawings and measuring with calipers and micrometers. Welding experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1-2 years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills including dimensions, quantities, metric conversions, algebra, and geometry.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, diligence, and time management skills.
• Welding experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment, including press brakes, rollers, punch presses, sanders, drills, grinders, shears, saws, and other fabrication machinery.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, rules, squares, angle gages, and height gages.
• Practice the highest degree of safety when performing essential duties of his position.
• Read and interpret parts drawings, process routings, and production requirement information.
