Aspire Talent Solutions in Harlan, Iowa is seeking a Fabricator – Machine Operator to set up, adjust, and operate fabrication equipment to produce metal components according to blueprints and work orders.

You will read drawings, use measuring tools, and maintain safety and quality records. Prior experience and basic math skills are valued; welding is a plus but not required. This is a full-time position with hourly pay between $22 and $28 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1-2 years of experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills including dimensions, quantities, metric conversions, algebra, and geometry.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, diligence, and time management skills.
• Welding experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Operate fabrication equipment, including press brakes, rollers, punch presses, sanders, drills, grinders, shears, saws, and other fabrication machinery.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, rules, squares, angle gages, and height gages.
• Practice the highest degree of safety when performing essential duties of the position.
• Read and interpret parts drawings, process routings, and production requirement information.
