Responsibilities

• Read fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine dimensions and requirements.
• Cut materials to size using saws, plasma cutters, or other equipment.
• Bend, form, drill, punch, or shape materials with appropriate machinery.
• Join components via welding, bolting, or other methods as trained.
• Grind, deburr, and finish components to meet quality standards.
• Check measurements and inspect finished parts against tolerances.
• Identify defects and communicate needs to prevent issues.
