Job summary

Enterprise Electrical is seeking a Fabricator to cut, form, join, and finish metal components for prefabrication and construction operations. You will interpret drawings, prepare materials, and operate fabrication tools to meet project specs.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion, checking measurements, and communicating production needs to the Lead Fabricator or Foreman. Prior metal fabrication experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years metal fabrication or related shop production experience.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and work orders accurately.
• Welding processes experience and basic safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine dimensions and materials.
• Select, inspect, and mark metal stock for cutting and forming per specs.
• Cut materials using saws, plasma cutters, or other shop equipment.
• Bend, form, drill, punch, and shape materials using appropriate machinery.
• Join components by welding, bolting, or fastening; perform rework as needed.
• Check measurements and fit; inspect against tolerances and report discrepancies.
• Operate or supervise equipment safely; report malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper scrap management.
• Document work orders and communicate task status to leads.
