Job summary

OPW is seeking an assembler to perform assembly on metal components and subassemblies using standard work rules, drawings and instructions. You will safely use pneumatic and hand tools, read production drawings, and test assemblies as required.

The role requires four years of relevant experience, strong English communication, ability to stand for long periods, and lift up to 30 lbs. Overtime may be required to meet production targets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in English comprehension and expression (verbal and written).
• Able to tolerate standing and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical products using standard work rules and drawings.
• Read and follow production drawings and samples; identify faulty parts.
• Operate required tools and equipment safely; maintain clean work area.
• Meet daily production rates and quality standards; participate in 6S and improvement activities.
