Job summary

Hedy Holmes Staffing Services is seeking an Assembly Technician to position and fasten parts, perform minor metal finishing, and operate basic shop equipment. You will assemble components like power brake boosters, air-brake compressors, and valves while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include following drawings, using hand and power tools, and inspecting outputs with Factory Acceptance Sheets.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 months of related experience or training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to pass a Drug and Background screen.

Responsibilities

Position parts according to drawings or unit knowledge.
Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or other fasteners.
Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers for proper fit.
Operate drill presses, punch presses or riveting machines.
Disassemble power brake boosters, air-brake compressors, and valves to salvage usable parts.
Maintain quality by inspections using Factory Acceptance Sheets.
Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
Maintain attendance and punctuality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
