Job summary

Cretex Medical in Kentucky is seeking a Production Operator to inspect, assemble, and package medical device components per customer specifications. You will operate basic tools, use microscopes, and document production records in the ERP system.

The role emphasizes adherence to ISO/cGMP, 5S, and quality systems, with Crosstraining across areas and participation in training and meetings. Shift is Friday-Sunday 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate and assist team members; attend meetings and provide input.
• Ability to cross-train in other production areas as required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement equipment in production.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail in inspection and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills for clean, efficient work area.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment; prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to produce component parts per work instructions and prints.
• Use microscope or visual equipment to inspect parts regularly.
• Inspect and monitor part quality against dimensional requirements.
• Know and understand the QMS and ISO requirements; ensure compliance.
• Complete job-related paperwork: quality history records, setup sheets, checklists.
• Record quantities, process parameters, and hours worked in the ERP system.
