You will operate and set up testing machines, maintain instruments, and generate test reports, updating tracking systems with results. This hands-on role supports quality assurance in the plant environment.

Qualifications

• Performs API and special customer mechanical tests on samples according to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensures instruments are in good condition checking their expiration date and correct functioning.
• Executes change over and set up of the machine.
• Performs API and special customer mechanical tests such as Tensile, Charpy, Hardness, DWTT or Fatigue tests.
• Performs computerized machine operation.
• Carries out quality reports of test results and notifies the responsible section when a test is out of specifications.
• Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
