Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure instruments are in good condition and check expiration dates.
• Execute changeover and setup of the testing machine.
• Perform tensile, Charpy, hardness, DWTT or fatigue tests as required.
• Run computerized machine operations and monitor test progress.
• Prepare quality reports and flag out-of-spec results to the responsible section.
• Update test data and store results in tracking systems.

Purpose:

Performs API and special customer mechanical tests on samples, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Main Activities:

• Ensures instruments are in good condition checking their expiration date and correct functioning.
• Executes change over and set up of the machine.
• Performs API and special customer mechanical tests such as Tensile, Charpy, Hardness, DWTT or Fatigue tests.
• Performs computerized machine operation.
• Carries out quality reports of test results and notifies the responsible section when a test is out of specifications.
• Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
