Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a precision inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts and incoming materials, interpreting drawings and specifications and using calibrated measuring equipment and visual inspection.

You'll inspect first-off parts, collect data for First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and FIRs, and provide data for quality records while following company work instructions and basic shop math.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of in-process and final inspection experience.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T preferred.
• CMM operation experience preferred.
• Ability to use and interpret basic measuring tools (weight gauge, micrometer, caliper, gauge blocks, thread gauges, comparative standards).
• Visual inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect first-off parts from manufacturing work centers.
• Collect measurement data for First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
• Collect and provide data required for Final Inspection Reports (FIRs).
• Interpret customer drawings and specifications and reference work instructions.
