Job summary

TAIT is a global leader in live experiences, seeking a Mechanical Fabricator in Lititz, PA. You will fabricate, assemble, weld, and repair TAIT products using MIG, TIG, and FCAW to deliver a finished quality product on time.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting materials, inspecting quality, maintaining tolerances, and safely handling tools. Requires HS diploma, welding knowledge, fabrication experience, and ability to learn TAIT software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of welding techniques.
• Fabrication and mechanical assembly experience.
• Basic knowledge of welding symbols.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Knowledge of rigging equipment a plus.
• Ability to learn TAIT business software (Epicor, Slack, Box).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility with work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints, drawings.
• Ensure correct material/products are used in the project.
• Evaluate the quality of materials, parts, and equipment before fabrication.
• Adhere to fabrication and assembly techniques efficiently and safely.
• Use general fabrication tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain dimensional tolerances and product specifications.
• Conduct quality checks at assignment completion.
• Report as-built modifications to management redline documentation.
• Support other tasks within the department as needed.
