Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to build, fabricate and assemble custom machinery and automation equipment. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills and collaboration across teams to adapt to changing priorities.

You will interpret fabrication drawings, perform precision fabrication with hand and power tools, assemble pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and wire electrical panels while working with the automation group on testing and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders and access machinery.
• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with automation equipment and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from mechanical fabrication drawings.
• Provide feedback to the mechanical design team for improvements or clarifications.
• Perform precision fabrication using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic systems; Machining & CNC operations.
• Operate CNC equipment such as lathes and mills.
• Wire electrical panels according to provided electrical schematics.
• Assist the automation team with equipment testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks related to machine building and integration.
