Job summary

Metal Works Inc. is seeking an experienced assembler to join our team on first shift from 7:00 to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This position is not a soldering role and involves assembling high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical or electromechanical assembly experience is a plus.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Comfortable using precision tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to meet quality and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Perform adjustments, alignments, fitting, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow safety procedures, quality requirements, and production standards.
• Identify defects or assembly issues and communicate them to supervisors or engineering.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams.
