Maysteel is seeking an Assembly I employee to perform production work in a metal fabrication environment. You will work with team leads to learn tasks and progress toward Assembly II level, following routings and manufacturing instructions to meet quality specs.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and basic computer skills with on-the-job training provided. Expect a physical, factory-floor setting with safety as a priority and opportunities to learn and grow.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with power and hand tools is a plus.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Entry level; on-the-job training provided.
• Basic computer skills – training provided.

Mansioni

• Maintain safe work environment with PPE and proper lifting techniques.
• Operate start/stop equipment and follow routings.
• Assemble components to approved specifications.
• Read gauges and record data.
• Use Epicor ERP to log into and out of jobs.
• Conserve resources and minimize waste.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and blueprints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
