Metal Works Inc. is seeking an experienced assembler to join our team on first shift from 7:00 to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This position is not a soldering role and involves assembling high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

We are looking for an experienced Assemblers to join our fantastic team! The position is on first shift 7-3:30pm Monday through Friday. This opening is not a soldering position.
Position Summary:
Responsible for assembling high-precision components and finished products according to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with hand tools, measuring equipment, and specialized assembly equipment.
Assemble precision mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical components.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions.
Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
Perform adjustments, alignments, fitting, and troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
Follow safety procedures, quality requirements, and production standards.
Identify defects or assembly issues and communicate them to supervisors or engineering.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
Mechanical or electromechanical assembly experience is a plus.
Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Comfortable using precision tools and measuring equipment.
Ability to meet quality and production requirements.
Ability to follow instructions verbal and or written
Ability to operate machines and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Maintains accurate and complete records.
Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift.
Lifting capabilities 15-20 lbs repeatedly with maximum lifting of 50 lbs.
Range of Motion: Bending, walking, and reaching.
