Job summary

Swagelok Northern California is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to perform standard mechanical assembly, inspections, and basic measurements per work instructions and drawings. You’ll work with a team to ensure on-time production while maintaining safety and quality.

As you gain proficiency, responsibilities expand to more complex assemblies, testing, troubleshooting, and mentoring less experienced technicians, within a continuous improvement environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year in mechanical assembly or equivalent.
• Ability to read instructions and assembly drawings with guidance.
• Basic math and English to complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard mechanical assembly tasks with minimal guidance.
• Sequence tasks and identify simple issues during assembly.
• Conduct basic inspections and measurements for conformity.
• Enter accurate production information in systems.
