Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Production Lead to direct the assembly of components with moderate complexity. The role requires good dexterity with hand tools, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work to close tolerances.

Supervisors and assemblers work from detailed blueprints, with some minor procedural decisions allowed. The position emphasizes safety, 5S and continuous improvement, with responsibilities for productivity, quality, and problem escalation.

Qualifications

• Must understand precision mechanical assembly, including drilling, riveting, installation of fasteners, fitting and bench assembly per Military Specifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned work in process, building maintenance, general housekeeping and performs basic to moderate test stands monthly and yearly inspections.
• Monitor all assembly personnel for adherence to assembly procedures.
• Verify that all appropriate tooling and paperwork are available at the workstation and sign off on any in-process inspections.
