Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Irvine, CA is seeking a Production Lead for Mechanical Assembly. You will direct assembly of components with moderate complexity, supervise assemblers, ensure adherence to drawings, tolerances and safety procedures, and maintain 5S practices to support productivity.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years in precision mechanical assembly, ability to operate drill presses and common hand/power tools, and familiarity with military specs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of related experience.
Must understand precision mechanical assembly per Military Specifications.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic PC literacy.
Must be able to operate drill press, hand, electrical and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

Direct production assembly of components with moderate complexity.
Monitor safety, quality, and productivity for assembly work.
Ensure tooling, drawings and procedures are available and used.
Lead and train shop personnel; monitor work in process and schedules.
Identify bottlenecks and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
