Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2+ years of on‑the‑job training/experience.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Able to learn and become proficient in ERP systems and databases.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Self-directed with ability to work with internal/external stakeholders.
• Able to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights).

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications with hand/power tools.
• Use calipers and micrometers for quality checks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Install assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform quality checks to ensure standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in line with DSM policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
