Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2+ years of on‑the‑job training/experience.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Able to learn and become proficient in ERP systems and databases.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Self-directed with ability to work with internal/external stakeholders.
• Able to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights).

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications and schematics with the aid of small power tools.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DSM’s policies and applicable laws
• Perform other duties as required
