Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter to prepare beef, poultry, and other cuts for display with precision and care. You’ll trim, package, label, and Stock the department while helping customers with special requests.

Strong attention to detail and food-safety knowledge are essential. You will operate knives, grinders, and saws, maintain clean workstations, and ensure displays meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior meat cutting or food preparation experience required.
• Ability to operate power equipment such as saws, grinders, and slicers following training and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques required.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments and maintain sanitation standards.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including food safety, sanitation, and dress standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beef, poultry, and other meat cuts for display with trimming and labeling.
• Operate knives, grinders, and saws following safety guidelines.
• Keep the department organized, stocked, and displays visually consistent.
• Interact with customers, answer questions, and fulfill special cut requests.
• Maintain sanitation and follow food safety procedures throughout the shift.
